How we first dared to
bare
We first considered
becoming nudists after we both stripped off during the summer of 2001 when it
got too hot and humid to wear anything around the house. We then started to go nude
when working and relaxing in the secluded part of our garden. Over the
following winter months we visited Blackpool & Fylde Sun Club swimming
nights and found these to be an excellent way of experiencing recreational and
social nudity for the first time. Since then we have enjoyed several nudist
holiday breaks including Pevors Farm Cottages in

“John, Roberta, how refreshing that you have chosen to call
yourselves nudists. The nudism / naturism debate has been going on for so long,
with the naturists declaring that their word has the benefit of current usage
across
“But my feeling is that its a weasel word for people
who just can't bring themselves to admit that they enjoy being nude to hide
behind. Naturism has a spurious air of "nature-loving" - almost to
the point where the nudity angle is pushed under the carpet. I think Nudist is
far more honest and accurate. I hope many people take your lead”.

“Saw
your website in the latest H & E. My wife and I are both naturists, we
started nude holidays at Arnaoutchoc in 2004
followed by Casa Natura in Spain the following
spring, this was a small complex, I do not think it is still operating. However
we have enjoyed many naked holidays since.
Yours naturally

“My introduction to naturism initially
came via a holiday to Majorca as is with most naturists. This experience was
just literally dipping my toe into the water so to speak, as it was an extremely
remote beach with very little disturbance. I suppose I was bothered about it
from a sexual point of view that I didn’t want men looking at my privates only
known to my then husband and other men lusting after the female form. But I
must admit it was really liberating, exciting and gave me freedom, as I had
never known”,
“My most recent
experiences of naturism have been revived and re lived thanks to my partner
Nigel who initially thought I would be put off by his interests in this life
style. How wrong he was, as an older woman I found my re introduction to
naturism again very liberating and a realism of coming to terms with my middle
aged body, much against media trends”.
“I have now embraced
naturism as part of our lifestyle and have become a member of a local naturist
club thanks to Nigel. This has been a good thing to do especially at my age
where I think it more accepting, there is also an honesty to naturism,
basically what you see, is what you get. It is also nice to not prejudge others
on the pre tense of clothed appearances. Ultimately I would say it has given me
confidence to accept my body as it is, bumps and all”!

*** Riva
Bella Nudist/Naturist Village Corsica ***
In September
2008 we enjoyed a 3 night stay at the lovely Riva Bella Village as part of our
holiday in Corsica. Riva Bella is located on the East coast of Corsica and it
offers a number of different accommodation options including a camping area. It
is a secluded mini village containing a shop, restaurant and bar areas. The
real gem is the long stretch of white sand beach along which most of the
accommodation is set. The sea was warm and the temperatures were in the high
70’s with clear blue sky on all but the first evening when it was overcast. Mid
September is an ideal time to go if you want to avoid the main tourist season
but be aware that the shop only opens in the morning time and only the main
restaurant was open after 12th September. The bungalow accommodation is basic self
catering without any major frills and no TV (Bliss). If you are comfortable
with camping or caravanning, then you will be at home at Riva Bella. There is a
gas stove, microwave oven and fridge in each bungalow. The only problem encountered
during our stay was that we discovered an ant invasion in the kitchen area when
we arrived but it was quickly resolved with the help of the ever attentive and
friendly staff. Click HERE to view Riva Bella’s web page.
